You’ll be ACA qualified, or equivalent, with demonstrable accountancy practice experience.

You’ll need a good knowledge of accounting software and will be detail focused, as well being a strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.

Job Purpose

1. Coach a junior team, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
2. Lead projects, including management and budget planning.
3. Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts.
4. Preparation of income and expenditure accounts for clients as required.
5. Bookkeeping and organisation of accounting records.
6. Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
7. Preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
8. Provide excellent service to clients, being the go-to person for any queries.
9. Proactively identify opportunities for clients and communicate actions clearly.
10. Handle technical and challenging projects, working to accounting standards and considerations.
11. Work closely with the senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects.
12. Contribute to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
