Are you a qualified and experienced accountant who is looking for a new challenge in a reputable and friendly accountancy practice? Do you have excellent numerical and analytical skills and a strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for my client in Blackpool who is looking to expand their busy team.

My client is a well-established and trusted accountancy practice that provides a range of accounting, tax and advisory services to individuals and businesses of various sizes and sectors. They are looking for a professional and reliable accountant to join our team and manage the accounting needs of our clients.

Your day will look like this :

  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, budgets, forecasts and other reports for clients
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and other regulations
  • Provide accounting advice and guidance to clients and help them achieve their financial goals
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and changes in the accounting industry and the best practices

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or AAT)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in an accountancy practice or a similar environment
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach and a willingness to learn and develop
