Job summary

Dot Partners in Huddersfield is seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver accounts preparation, client management and advisory exposure, with ownership of client relationships and high-quality service.

You will be responsible for statutory accounts, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with senior staff on complex assignments. A proactive, commercially aware approach and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice (accounts focused).
• ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong client-facing skills and communication ability.
• Desire ownership and progression, not just task-based work.
• Proactive and commercially aware approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of SME clients.
• Managing your own client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
