Role Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the Home Care and Direct Payments budgets of £31.5m in Adults Social Care.
  • Manage key financial processes including budget setting, in-year monitoring, and account closure.
  • Raise significant issues with senior management with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Advise services and managers on financial governance, self-service, and delegations, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
  • Provide professional financial advice and analysis supporting strategic and financial planning.
  • Support financial modelling for Home Care retendering and department reform plans.

We operate a hybrid working model with mobile IT equipment and hot desk facilities. Professional supervision is provided.
