An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Accountant to join a growing provider of specialist business environment solutions. Based in Beaconsfield, this senior-level position offers the chance to take full ownership of the finance function and play a key role in shaping financial strategy for a business expanding across the UK and Europe.

The successful candidate will lead the transition of finance operations from offshore to in-house, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly management accounts and providing insightful P&L analysis
Managing day-to-day finance activity, including journals, reconciliations, and payroll
Overseeing VAT compliance across the UK, EU and Switzerland
Supporting customs, import/export processes, and European tax matters
Leading budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Integrating financial systems with CRM platforms (e.g. Zoho)

Ideal candidate profile:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
Based locally to Beaconsfield (essential)
Proficient in Xero and Excel, with solid analytical and reporting skills
Background in a product-based or internationally trading business
Confident working directly with senior leadership
Experience managing offshore or remote finance teams is a plus
