We are recruiting a Senior Accountant in the Social Care Finance Department. The role oversees and manages the GBP31.5m Home Care and Direct Payments budgets, including budget setting, in-year monitoring, and account closure. Significant issues are escalated with recommendations for corrective actions.

The role advises services and managers on financial governance, delegations, and adherence to financial regulations. It also provides professional financial advice and analysis to support strategic and financial planning, including financial modelling for retendering and reforms within ASC.

The department supports hybrid working with mobile IT and hot desk facilities. Professional supervision is provided.
