Job description

A leading (re)insurance group is looking for a qualified Senior Accountant to join its finance team . This role focuses on regulatory reporting for their entities, covering Lloyd’s UK GAAP, Solvency UK, and other international submissions. However, you will also play a part in budgeting, performance analysis, and strategic finance projects, working closely with teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely regulatory submissions (Lloyd’s UK GAAP, Solvency UK, US Situs, TRIA, NAIC, CBI QRTs, statutory accounts).

Support quarterly close cycles, ensuring accuracy in financial disclosures.

Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve technical accounting matters.

Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements in global finance.

Liaise with auditors and ensure strong internal controls.

Support management reporting, annual budgets, and strategic finance projects.

Requirements

ACA (or equivalent) with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in (re)insurance.

Strong knowledge of US and UK GAAP and regulatory reporting.

Advanced Excel skills and proven analytical ability.
