Job details
  • Preparation of reports involving the valuation of business interests, quantification of damages, income and/or business loss, and income analysis for family law purposes;
  • Analysis of legal and financial documentation such as legal agreements, financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations;
  • Gathering and analysis of investment and transactional data from public and licensed sources;
  • Working towards completion of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or other relevant designations;
  • Experience with external/internal audits is preferred;
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access);
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including financial formulas and forecasting spreadsheets;
  • Strong strategic thinking, research, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships;
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with staff and clients;
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters;
  • Teamwork and support for team goals;
  • Strong commitment to quality and accuracy;
  • Completion of a University Accounting degree and working towards CPA designation;
  • Understanding of WSIB, CRA requirements for reports and submissions;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple engagements;
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Tax Prep, QuickBooks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
