Senior Accountant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established Practice based in Belfast, looking to recruit a Senior Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Company:

The practice was established in 1992, providing services such as Audit, Accounts, Tax (Personal + Corporate), Corporate Finance, and Payroll. They work with clients across NI, UK, ROI, and US, serving industries including construction, healthcare, professional services, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, IT, marketing, and charities.

Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

1. Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
2. Preparation of corporate tax returns.
3. Ad hoc advisory work, including M&A and raising financing.
4. Mentoring junior staff members.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

• Newly Qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Practice experience.
• Open to Big 4 or mid-tier backgrounds.
• Experience in audit or accounts/mixed roles.
