The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns
  • Support junior staff with training, supervision, and review of work
  • Liaise directly with clients to provide proactive advice and build strong relationships
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

About You

You are ACA or ACCA qualified and:

  • Have solid experience in general practice accounting within a UK accountancy firm
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax principles
  • Are confident managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Are proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office
