The agency has a roster of international and UK based B2B and B2C clients, ranging from SMEs to global multinationals. They now need a Senior Account Manager to continue to build relationships between clients and the agency. This is a vital role as this individual will ensure that they meet their client’s needs and create brand and marketing outputs they are all proud of and positively impact our clients’ business.
As Senior Account Manager, you will need to be a creative problem solver, be able to manage internal and external comms, have an eye for detail and have the tenacity to drive projects to completion. The role will require a broad knowledge and a high standard of online and offline marketing channels and tactics. You will be working on activity as varied as product launches, creating new websites or managing events.
Managing the client relationship of a selection of accounts through effective communication, problem-solving and responding to requests
Taking client briefs and communicating the requirements to creatives, designers, copywriters and other agency partners
Scoping of projects, writing project/campaign proposals
Presenting and selling creative work (some pitch work may also be required)
Developing timing plans, ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are met, communicating and seeking approval of any changes to these
Managing the work and output of other team members, e.g. proof checking etc.
Identifying ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities
Keeping the team and the client up to date with helpful knowledge and insights
Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and subsequent actions
Quoting and managing budgets; drafting invoices
Performing client reviews; in collaboration with other team members, reporting on work/campaign performance and KPIs
Previous 2 to 3 years experience as a Account Manager within an agency environment
Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
Personable, professional and able to work effectively with a variety of different people
Exceptionally well organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
Persuasive, able to sell work and ideas and respond positively to feedback
Flexible and able to solve problems
Resilient and positive in difficult situations
Able to juggle competing demands and manage deadlines effectively
