Description

Amazon Kuiper is looking for an experienced, self-starter Sales and Business Development Professional to drive adoption of Kuiper services with large enterprise customers across multiple verticals (e.g., Energy, Manufacturing, M&E) in Europe.

You are responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing complex deals with multiple key accounts. You manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional customers, delivering outcomes with cross-organizational impact. You execute and define BD/Sales strategies that complement product strategy with limited oversight. You also develop strategies for gathering and delivering customer feedback.

You serve as a partner or thought leader for other Sales/BD teams on opportunities, contribute to strategic documents including regional and vertical GTM and account plans, and own reporting on forecasting and business impact of opportunities, focusing on actuals vs. plan targets.

You have the ability to significantly impact measurable business metrics and close or grow large or complex medium-sized business opportunities.

This position may require access to export-controlled information, technology, or hardware, and employment is contingent upon obtaining necessary export licenses or approvals based on nationality, citizenship, and other factors.

Key job responsibilities
  • Contribute to building Amazon Kuiper service revenue with a focus on key enterprise customers in Europe.
  • Be customer obsessed, thinking on behalf of the customer to meet their needs and aspirations.
  • Execute strategic and tactical business development initiatives with internal stakeholders (product, engineering, legal, finance).
  • Support complex contract negotiations and business requirements activities.
  • Think strategically and analytically about business priorities, product, and technical challenges, delivering results across organizations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for detailed strategic documents.

  • Consistently exceed key performance metrics and deliver results.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience as a senior executive in direct sales within the satellite industry, selling to C-level executives.
  • Proven track record of exceeding performance metrics and delivering results.
  • Experience with emerging technology solutions, including cloud computing.
  • Ability to drive consensus among multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with product management or technical integrations.
  • Experience in negotiating commercial frameworks.
  • Ability to articulate business value and technical approaches.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • Experience in sectors like Retail, M&E, Industrial, Energy, Mining, Security, Public Sector.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with multinational organizations.
  • Understanding of Cloud Services and Content Delivery.
  • Deep knowledge of satellite communications technologies and value adds.
