Job Description:

Pro has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to work with the Head of Client Engagement managing a portfolio of Pro MGA clients, including provision of Incubator services, developing client platforms, and carrying out principal responsibilities. Being the main point of contact for clients and working alongside the client and internal stakeholders to monitor cross-departmental activities; acting as coordinator and liaison and providing effective support to embed appropriate processes and controls. This role will also be responsible for defining and implementing initiatives to build and develop client platforms.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role split between working from home and either our London or Gloucester office 2 - 3 days a week

Main Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The role will also focus on operational delivery including compliance, regulatory oversight, and risk management, including focusing on maintaining the following to ensure:

  • The strong risk, compliance and regulatory culture is maintained
  • Client delivery is fully effective and optimised for efficiency with an appropriate suite of monitoring reports in place
  • The Pro.MS risk and compliance digital platform is deployed across client base

This will be achieved through:

  • A clearly defined Target Operating and Incubation Model
  • A standard suite of client delivery metrics in place
  • Structured and formal meetings with the client to demonstrate regulatory adherence
  • Informal meetings with client to further support regulatory oversight

You will:

  • Be the main point of contact for Pro MGA clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure the client is receiving a quality service.
  • Ensure the target operating model is understood and applied appropriately.
  • Be the point of escalation for both internal and external queries across a variety of topics, including control framework, returns and systems.
  • Be responsible for technical oversight and implementation of required enhancements.
  • Enable the onboarding of new MGAs to the Pro MGA platform including development of the MGA’s operating model, project plan maintenance and cross-function communications.
  • Ensure that the ongoing deliverables are met by monitoring and reporting against Pro MGA’s Schedule of Services.
  • Support and contribute to the client engagement strategy, in conjunction with key internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and establish awareness of the Risk and Compliance framework in place and use it to effectively manage clients.

Key knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills – thinking outside the box.
  • Desire to proactively investigate and resolve problems and define solutions and create processes that support the entire team.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and establish strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • At least 2 years of delegated authority knowledge and experience; including set up, processing and operational workings.
  • At least 2 years’ experience within Insurance operations
  • Excellent level of IT skills including Excel is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements within the Insurance industry with the ability to assess impact on Pro MGA business operations.
  • Management of MI metrics and the ability to analyse trends and challenge results.
  • Knowledge of personal lines produce sale, direct to consumer would be advantageous.
