The Role and What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a passionate and culturally attuned Senior Account Manager to lead on some of the most exciting cricket properties in the world, including the ICC, IPL, and other high-profile T20 tournaments. This is a pivotal role in the Cricket Partnerships team at 160over90, where you'll be responsible for driving forward best-in-class PR, influencer, and content-led strategies that connect with both traditional fans and new, global audiences.

You will bring a strong knowledge of the cricket landscape, paired with an appreciation for content creators, culturally relevant platforms, and the evolving media environment. Your role will involve collaborating with global rights holders, managing integrated campaigns, and helping shape how cricket reinvents itself for the next generation of fans.

  • Lead day-to-day delivery of integrated PR and social campaigns across key cricket partnerships, ensuring creative and strategic excellence.

  • Help shape partnership positioning, campaign narratives, and content strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain relationships with cricket creators, influencers, and talent, ensuring representation across key demographics and platforms.

  • Develop and implement media and influencer amplification plans around live events, campaigns, and digital content drops.

  • Support in the development of culturally relevant campaign activations that resonate with local and global audiences alike.

  • Liaise with rights holders such as ICC, IPL teams, and tournament bodies to coordinate approvals, content capture, and media access.

  • Coordinate reporting and evaluation processes across campaigns, focusing on earned media, social impact, and influencer performance.

  • Contribute to cross-functional creative ideation and campaign planning with internal teams (strategy, creative, partnerships, production).

  • Serve as an on-the-ground contact for cricket campaigns during key tournaments and events, supporting PR, media, and creator activations.

You Have These:

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience, ideally within sport, lifestyle, or culturally led marketing.

  • Experience working with or around global sports rights holders, sponsorships, and/or ambassador partnerships.

  • A deep understanding of the global cricket landscape, from governing bodies to T20 leagues, grassroots to emerging platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of how cricket is evolving through digital channels, youth engagement, and culturally attuned content.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrated communications campaigns from strategy through to reporting.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with clients, rights holders, media, and creators.

  • A network or understanding of cricket talent, influencers, and content creators.

  • Ability to work across multiple markets and cultures, tailoring messages and approaches accordingly.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure—especially when working across live events or international tournaments.

  • Outstanding storytelling, writing, and communication skills across media formats.

  • Knowledge of the social and digital landscape, including relevant platforms, analytics, and cultural trends.
