Morgan Philips is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic client in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with exceptional account management skills and a proven track record in fostering client relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve business goals and drive customer success.

Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion of existing accounts and lead initiatives to develop new business prospects within the sector.

Project Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery meets client expectations and company standards.

Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations to clients.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, market developments, and sales performance metrics to share with senior management.

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability goals.

Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and ensure that it is communicated effectively to relevant departments to enhance service offerings.

Required Skills:

Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role within the oil and gas sector, or similar.

Strong understanding of the industry, including market dynamics, trends, and challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and market intelligence to make informed decisions.

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

Additional Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the oil and gas industry. A proven track record of achieving targets and developing client relationships. Understanding of compliance and regulatory aspects of the oil and gas industry is essential. Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe, as required.
