Job summary

Independent Media Agency in South Manchester is seeking an Account Manager to join a growing, independent team with a hybrid working model. The role covers the full media mix, including TV, OOH, Radio, Print and Social, and offers progression from a Senior Account Executive or a step-up for an existing Account Manager.

You will manage client relationships, build detailed media plans, and contribute to strategic planning, while mentoring junior staff and handling key account finances.

Qualifications

• Media experience across the full media mix or at least one key channel (TV, BVOD, Radio, Digital, Social, OOH).
• Confident communicator with a proactive mindset.
• Results-focused with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive, curious and keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and media strategy.
• Support the team to build detailed media plans.
• Strategic planning from brief to sign-off with commercial and analytical mindset.
• Collaborate with TV team to develop knowledge of clients' TV campaigns and reporting.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Oversee financial management across key accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date client relationships and nurture connections.
