Role Overview:

MHP Health is a multi-award-winning specialist healthcare communications consultancy. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to act as the day-to-day manager on client programmes. The role will work across a range of accounts and will suit someone who enjoys working in a forward-thinking, fast-paced environment. You will be an ambitious healthcare communications consultant with a genuine interest and passion for health public relations, public affairs, and policy.

As a Senior Account Manager at MHP Group, you will:

1. Assist with managing servicing and profitability and be the day-to-day client contact.
2. Maintain a good understanding of clients’ business objectives, political and policy issues, and manage programmes to meet those objectives.
3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of system architecture into which policy will be applied, oversee the drafting of policymaker and media materials, and guide policy analysis.
4. Collect, log, manipulate, and analyze data, highlighting key themes to engage clients and external audiences.
5. Assist with new business preparation and pitching while maintaining prospect contacts.
6. Stay updated with the latest social media trends, proactively develop material, and enhance MHP’s digital offerings.
7. Manage and mentor junior team members, providing on-the-job training.

You will:

1. Have solid experience within an agency/consultancy or in-house role within a commercial or patient/professional setting.
2. Have up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare landscape and how different communication channels can influence opinion and deliver commercial returns.
3. Possess excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
4. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
