PA Media is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the Mediapoint team, managing a varied client portfolio and helping them leverage opportunities across the news agenda. The role blends account management with editorial insight, ensuring client commentary is timely, relevant and adds value to developing stories.

You will be the senior day-to-day contact, coordinating with Mediapoint and The PA newsroom to move activity quickly, spotting opportunities and strengthening editorial propositions

Qualifications

• Experience as an account manager in PR or media.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver to deadlines.
• Strong understanding of the UK media landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience collaborating with journalists and newsroom teams.

Responsabilités

• Act as senior day-to-day contact for key client accounts.
• Manage client commentary from activation through delivery and reporting.
• Coordinate between clients, Mediapoint and The PA newsroom.
• Horizon-scan the PA newswire for opportunities for clients.
• Write accurate news copy and edit commentary at newsroom pace.
• Strengthen client contributions and editorial propositions.
• Grow existing accounts with new ideas and campaigns.
• Maintain clear communications and reporting to clients.
• Build trusted relationships with agencies and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand accounts with new services.
