Who We Are Looking For:
ConcentricLife is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a passion for, and experience in, healthcare and Life Sciences to join our London-based global team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play an integral role in leading, building and winning client relationships.
Reports to: The Senior Account Director
What You Will Do:
- Serve as an internal advocate for the brands you work on, building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Maintain contact with clients to ensure a strong understanding of their needs and effectively communicate these needs to the internal team, earning their trust and respect, and becoming recognised as a valued contributor to their account.
- Identify and triage business opportunities and significant changes in the client’s business structure or needs.
- Demonstrate credibility through a thorough understanding of your client's therapy area, products, competitive landscape, and target audiences.
- Understand and contribute to the strategic and creative vision for the brands you work on.
- Manage client and agency expectations regarding project timelines, costs, and processes, educating clients on agency procedures.
- Exercise caution and consider the implications of client requests before committing to actions, ensuring thoughtful decision-making.
- Be proficient in the regulatory review process and client platforms, ensuring projects are developed and delivered in compliance with client processes.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail across all projects.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with creative and project management partners to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow.
- Support in the development and presentation of agency proposals, recommendations, POVs, and strategic initiatives, actively promoting agency offerings to clients.
- Work with strategy partners to develop creative briefs and strategic plans.
- Develop project briefs and lead cross-functional project briefings.
- Work with project management partners to build SOWs.
- Work with finance and project management partners to manage and maintain the financial health of your accounts.
- Provide finance partners with timely rolling forecast projections and manage billing.
- Leverage the trust and respect earned within the agency to handle urgent or unplanned work effectively.
- Motivate the wider team, fostering a collaborative and energetic spirit within your accounts.
- Maintain composure to avoid crises and keep the team calm.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in an account/client services role within the life sciences communications/advertising industry.
- A passion for continuous learning and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- An approachable, hardworking, open-minded, self-starter mindset.
- A drive to elevate both thinking and the work.
- A curious nature.
- An ability to tell a simple story visually and verbally.
- Experience in co-leading project teams to plan and deliver omni-channel campaigns.
- Experience managing or mentoring others.
- The desire to be great.
- Experience with launch campaigns is also beneficial, but not essential.
