We are recruiting for a long-established fashion supplier, who is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager, based in London, to build and maintain key womenswear accounts. This is a pivotal role, responsible for driving sales strategy, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring the commercial success of major retail partnerships.


The successful candidate will have a background in either sales or buying, with a solid track record of managing large-volume accounts, ideally within the high street or supermarket retail sectors.

This position offers a hybrid working model, with travel as required, and a competitive benefits package.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing key womenswear accounts, implementing effective strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail buyers, handling all aspects of negotiation and contract finalisation
  • Presenting seasonal collections with a strong understanding of product, trends, and consumer preferences
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow market share
  • Representing the company at meetings, and sales presentations as the primary sales contact
  • Delivering sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership, ensuring clear communication around performance and opportunities

Person specification:

  • Proven experience in a sales or buying role within the womenswear sector
  • Background working with high street retailers, preferably including supermarkets or other large commercial accounts
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting, commercially successful partnerships
  • Analytical and commercially focused, confident in interpreting sales data and identifying growth opportunities
