Are you interested in a fast-paced role? We are looking for a Senior Account Handler to join our visionary and friendly office. Primarily, you are responsible for providing a quality service by handling client excellence. You'll work collaboratively with the expert Account Executives in the office to achieve common goals, fostering true team cohesion for the ultimate outcome.
You will be experienced within the insurance sector, knowledgeable about the local market, and committed to putting your clients at the heart of your actions.
How you'll make an impact
- Obtain renewal terms for your customers and explore alternative quotations before producing a final presentation for account managers to discuss with customers.
- Produce market presentations where required and negotiate terms with insurers.
- Check insurer documentation for accuracy and provide it to the customer within specified timescales.
- Handle insurer queries and ensure customer needs are efficiently addressed.
- Assist with customer queries, liaise with insurers regarding policy changes and new terms.
- Ensure all account administration is completed, including confirming cover, processing policies, and chasing outstanding documentation.
- Be highly organized and work towards a plan, ensuring the secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers.
- Deal with account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers.
- Understand and apply legal and regulatory policies related to insurance contracts.
- Keep track of monthly budget and income numbers.
- Work with your account handler, providing guidance and training.
- Assist team members as required and comply with professional standards and statutory requirements.
About You
- Corporate experience, especially in motor fleet, is vital.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is critical, with a focus on targets within a regulated environment.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with knowledge of general insurance products, services, and legal principles.
- Risk-aware with a good customer service focus, capable of identifying potential risks/issues.
- Process-driven, with strong planning and analytical skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
