Gartner for Supply Chain Officers, Large Enterprise Account Executive

Gartner for Supply Chain is hiring a growth-focused Account Executive to join its high-performing team! Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) must continue to drive growth amid increasing cost constraints and volatile, complex environments. Gartner empowers them with data and insights to deliver results.

In 2024, CSCOs are expected to drive growth, manage revenue risk, and deliver ROI on technology investments. With growth as a top priority for CEOs, CSCOs play a key role in achieving this amid cost management challenges.

Our Account Executives engage with C-level stakeholders in large enterprise organizations. These are individual contributor roles with targets based on retention and upsell, compensated on renewals and new business.

The team is supported by Sales Managers, VPs, Customer Success Managers, SMEs, and possibly Sales Development and Account Management teams.

Responsibilities of an Account Executive:

  • Manage a portfolio of 10–20 large enterprise accounts with a quota of approximately $1.2M USD.
  • Retain and grow existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to enhance client engagement.
  • Conduct client meetings to review ROI and renew services.
  • Generate new opportunities through outbound activities.
  • Develop strategies with C-level clients.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Forecast and plan accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Share best practices and foster team collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience influencing C-level executives.
  • Strong management and forecasting skills in complex sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA.
