Why we need this role
As a Senior Account Executive in our Large Enterprise Account Development team, your mission is to manage key accounts, revive, grow, and transform Colt’s presence across dormant, dim, and low-spend enterprise customers. You will develop tailored account strategies, build C-suite relationships, and lead cross-disciplinary virtual teams to achieve business outcomes through Colt’s portfolio.
What you will do
- Strategic Business Development
- Develop growth strategies for a portfolio of dormant, low-engagement, or dark enterprise accounts.
- Re-engage and expand relationships within complex, multi-site organizations to re-establish Colt as a trusted partner.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and engage stakeholders at all levels with a consultative approach.
- Executive-Level Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including CxO-level, aligning Colt’s solutions with customer outcomes.
- Lead strategic account planning and executive briefings to foster long-term partnerships.
- Utilize insights and analytics to prioritize opportunities, craft value propositions, and develop winning strategies.
- Manage pipeline and forecast accuracy using sales methodologies like Challenger, MEDDPICC, SPIN.
- Revenue Generation & Cross-Sell
- Drive revenue growth by expanding Colt’s footprint within existing underperforming enterprise accounts.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Colt’s services including cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, security, and voice.
- Internal Collaboration & Leadership
- Coordinate virtual teams across Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Delivery to ensure successful pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to less experienced account executives and support team enablement.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in B2B, preferably in digital infrastructure, telco, IT services, or SaaS.
- Proven ability to revive dormant accounts, activate whitespace, and surpass growth targets.
- Experience managing complex, multi-divisional enterprise accounts internationally.
- Deep expertise in executive stakeholder management and strategic opportunity creation.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to balance long-term vision with execution.
- Ability to translate customer outcomes into solutions across networking, cloud, and digital transformation.
- Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial, outcome-driven.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene skills (e.g., Salesforce).
- Proficiency in consultative and insight-led selling methodologies.
