Job Description

At Salesforce, we're seeking outstanding individuals to join our team as Account Executives with a strong technical background and experience in AI-driven solutions. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth, fostering enduring client relationships, and applying innovative technology that redefines customer engagement.

This role involves owning and driving the go-to-market strategy for your territory and leading the sales cycle. You will sell strategic business outcomes with long-term, high-growth engagements, contributing to transforming how our customers build software and conduct business.

You will be challenged to grow personally and professionally, surrounded by a talented team that supports your development and success.

What you will be doing

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs/CIOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and business executives
  • Build strong relationships resulting in growth opportunities
  • Partner with Solution Engineers and Professional Services to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with ecosystem and channel partners to maximize deal sizes
  • Participate in sales enablement, sophisticated sales training, and leadership development programs

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Recent experience leading complex, significant sales to IT and business leaders
  • Proven success in quota-carrying software sales roles
  • Experience in driving new deals and building business from the ground up
  • Strong focus on customer success with a consultative, outcome-based sales approach
  • Ability to communicate honestly and directly, prioritizing others’ best interests
  • Collaborative team player with a company-first mentality—"be a good human" is a core value

Knowledge of API Management and Integration is advantageous but not required, same as Energy & Utilities knowledge.
