The Role

As a Senior Account Executive – Agency, you won’t just be joining Epidemic Sound’s agency sales team — you’ll be building it. You’ll play a key role in setting the strategy, laying the groundwork, and driving growth within our agency segment from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a critical business area, establishing strong partnerships with leading agencies while shaping how Epidemic Sound shows up in the creative space. You’ll be responsible for opening new doors, landing and expanding key accounts, and setting the foundation for long-term success in the segment.

In this role, you’ll be expected to meet and exceed ambitious growth targets while being a passionate ambassador of Epidemic Sound’s brand, values, and mission in the market.


Responsibilities:

The main duties as the Senior Account Executive - Agency is to..

  • Identify new agency clients as a route to market, conduct contract negotiations, obtain orders and establish new accounts/relationships.

  • Competently navigate multiple divisions and departments of major agency groups.

  • Expertly pull together complex deal structures and negotiations, positioning standard Epidemic offerings and working with this channel to identify deal constructs that meet the agency where they are.

  • Develop strong relationships with middle management and C-level executives from both a relationship building and a sales/business development perspective from all major agency groups

  • Assume responsibility for the full agency sales cycle, both inbound and outbound sales, and keeping Epidemic Sounds as top of mind.

  • Maintain a consistent daily work schedule to call/mail/visit/host existing or potential clients.

  • Keep management informed by submitting relevant activity and report results in the CRM system. Monitor competition by gathering market information on the pricing of new products etc.

  • Analyze and create reports in CRM in order to drive and improve results.

  • Work closely with HoS to assist in special projects, such as onboarding, sales enablement initiatives, and cross departmental goals.

  • Act as a mentor and teacher for more junior AEs.

  • Work closely with other departments in order to achieve company goals such as maximising customer satisfaction, customer knowledge, and product development.

  • Responsible for sourcing and attaining deals from key agencies, including but not limited to:
    • Guide growth marketing on Account Based Marketing initiatives aligned with key accounts.

    • Be responsible for assembling RFP / tender teams upon receiving bid proposals from said key agencies.

    • Strategically map out- and penetrate said key agency accounts as well as "gorilla agency accounts.

    • Contribute to team OKRs to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved.

    • Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the agency segment.

    • Consistently achieve and surpass ambitious annual sales targets

Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.

Requirements:

You have a network of relevant senioragency contacts and have been selling to major UK agencies for at least 4 years. You’re passionate about sales and equally passionate about being part of a world-class team. You understand the importance of and take pride in new business acquisitions.

You take initiative, have a high level of business acumen, thrive from working in an Enterprise environment, and enjoy nothing more than building new relationships with prospective customers. Also, you must LOVE music.

Preferred skills:

  • 8+ years prior sales experience at a senior level selling solutions with a strong track-record of agency success

  • Great relationship-building, communication and presentation skills

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and other typical systems such as Ironclad, Jira, etc.

  • A self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done

  • Passionate about helping prospective customers scale up their business through Music, Media and SaaS solutions

  • An active interest in music and/or media is a big plus

  • Adaptive and not afraid of change within a rapidly growing company

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
