Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Account Executive role at KINESSO UK&I

KINESSO is the technology‑driven performance marketing agency that sits at the very heart of IPG Mediabrands, providing actionable growth for both our agency partners and clients. We turn ‘action’ into ‘outcome’ for our clients, leveraging our unique capabilities in optimization, analytics, AI, and experimentation.

Role Description

The Senior Account Executive is primarily responsible for improving client retention, the number one KPI. The incumbent will support Account Managers and Directors in the day‑to‑day running of their accounts, and for smaller accounts will ensure proactive, professional, and timely service.

This role will work across Disney, Unite Students and Kimberly Clark accounts. By executing great project and process management, you will also work closely with the internal craft teams to ensure smooth delivery of all planned tasks, reporting progress back to the account leads and clients on a consistent basis.

You will be a highly organised individual that takes pride in all elements of your work, ensuring that all internal documents are updated weekly and that any outward‑facing documentation is delivered in accordance with the business’ brand and customer service guidelines.

Given that people interaction also plays a pivotal part in your role, you will build relationships both internally and externally. You will meet with clients on a frequent basis, both informally and formally, and internally, you will be pragmatic to always ensure the best outcome for your clients.

As a secondary KPI, you will also learn how to commercially grow your assigned accounts, dedicating time to learning about our wider business offerings and keeping up to date with industry developments in order to suggest cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Expertise
  • Commit to learning about the many digital channels we work across (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Social and Programmatic), keeping up to date with industry news and developments.
  • Develop full working knowledge of our key reporting & tracking tools, and have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Communicate and present effectively to manage client accounts and expectations.
Account/Client Management
  • Fulfil relevant daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks, ensuring that all campaigns are executed to plan and meet targets.
  • Work with wider teams to ensure that campaign and project timelines, cost estimates, schedules and forecasts are adhered to.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate and assist with developing high‑quality presentations.
  • Help prepare strategies and plans across multiple digital channels.
  • Help prepare performance review presentations.
  • Develop and distribute accurate contact reports and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and distribute regular status reports.
  • Complete timesheets on a regular, minimum weekly basis.
  • Meet commitments and complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Keep clients and account teams updated on the status of account activities.
  • Act as the account support (and sometimes lead) on smaller accounts to motivate the wider team to produce best‑in‑class results.
  • Use personal passion and creativity to develop innovative ideas to improve projects and tasks.
  • Contribute ideas and opinions on the client’s business, our way of working, and the industry.
  • Familiarise yourself with the client’s business, its products and services, and analyse present and potential marketing opportunities.
