Senior Account Executive – Payments - iGaming

Location: UK Remote

The Role

This is a new business sales role focused on high-value online merchants in iGaming and other regulated verticals. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle—from pipeline building to deal closure—while working cross-functionally to ensure successful onboarding.

You will play a key role in expanding the company’s footprint in sectors where speed, conversion, and cost-efficiency are mission-critical. The role reports directly into senior leadership and offers excellent progression as the commercial team scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and close new business opportunities with merchants in iGaming, betting, gaming, crypto, and cross-border eCommerce
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline, taking ownership of the full sales cycle from outreach to contract
  • Develop strategic account plans to land and expand in key verticals
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and market insights to support wider business strategy
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Stay informed on developments in iGaming, compliance, and the broader payments ecosystem

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, or merchant services
  • Proven track record closing deals in iGaming, online betting, gambling, or other regulated sectors
  • Strong understanding of account-to-account (A2A) payments or merchant acquiring
  • Commercially astute with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; startup or scale-up experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally
