We’re looking for a Senior Account Director to join the Client Servicesteam and support the businessin leading our clients in the world of social. Ensuring the smooth running and continuous improvement of the teams and manage the client relationships.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the overview and successful running of all activity on client accounts.
  • Ownership of a client portfolio totalling £1m+ per annum, with a view to grow this.
  • Supporting client teams* in the leading of meetings and all comms.
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships to encourage retention and successful increase of scope. Accountable for the delivery of growth targets for the account. *
  • Responsible for understanding all available agency services, and the appropriate upselling to specific clients. Proactively seeking additional client relationships outside of the day-to-day contact.
  • Proactively seeking out new opportunities with existing clients to grow accounts and execute on strategic business objectives.
  • Responsible for budgeting of client projects, developing budget trackers for always on and campaign projects, reporting back when asked by Client Services Director or Finance.
  • Taking a leading role in new business pitch processes, often leading on the deck with the new business team from idea creation through to presentation.
  • Being critical with all creative work, asking ‘what does good look like?’, challenging creative and design concepts based on client briefs and priorities.
  • Leading all client content production, managing shoots with producers, directors, and editors.
  • Setting the strategy for individual accounts with the support of Coolr’s internal strategy team
  • Line management of Client Services team members (First line of support, 1:1 check ins, quarterly reviews, feedback delivery, assisting in objective setting and assessment, workload management, mentorship).
  • Responsible for working with the Director of Operations and other Account Directors to efficiently manage the resourcing of the agency for all accounts, ensuring that the team members have suitable workloads and are chargeable in line with agency standards.

You will be:

  • An experienced Senior Account Director/Account Director in a social first agency
  • Detail-orientated – ensuring all work is delivered on time and on budget without ever compromising on quality or creativity.
  • Solutions focused in approach and bring creative thinking to problem solving.
  • Comfortable delivering projects in full covering developing timelines, budget management, documentation and delivering against briefs – with a high attention to detail.
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients to build a position of trust and will help motivate the internal team
  • Able to manage, track and negotiate with suppliers and partners to ensure we are delivering the best work possible in an entrepreneurial manner.
  • Able to handle multiple clients and prioritise your time and internal resource based on requirement.
  • Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of popular culture and social media news and updates
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
  • Computer literate with a sound understanding of Microsoft Office including excel, word, powerpoint – and Workplace!
  • Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile to deliver on objectives
