Real Chemistry is a global agency providing a full suite of services across healthcare communications and marketing to clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, excellence, and impact in healthcare. We are seeking a Senior Account Associate to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Account Associate, you will focus on day-to-day project management and learning how to manage client relationships. You will manage small and medium-sized projects from start to finish and will gain experience in managing others and delegating. You are reliable, efficient, and able to make sensible decisions that clients and colleagues can trust.

What you’ll do:

  • Take responsibility for planning, time management, priorities, and deliverables across your accounts. Seek guidance from account leads or line managers as needed; highlight risks to project delivery.
  • Manage administrative account tasks (internal & external meeting invites; status reports; agendas, call notes, timelines) with minimal senior input.
  • Maintain awareness of projects across your accounts and flag key updates with suggested next steps and solutions.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery to cost and deadline; coordinate internal and external resources as required.
  • Identify opportunities to delegate and match assignments with junior team members for development and effective delivery.
  • Demonstrate understanding of clients’ needs, strategy, and brand in interactions and work delivery.
  • Lead sections of client calls and meetings, providing recommendations and counsel when appropriate.
  • Develop writing skills, conduct research, draft first drafts, and ensure content accuracy.
  • Demonstrated proficiency on VVPM, including uploading, tagging, and asset management through approval.

Team management

  • Understand project objectives and communicate them effectively internally and externally.
  • Develop coaching, delegation, and briefing skills; lead by example to upskill and inspire junior team members.
  • Understand RC financial processes and support account teams as required (e.g., job codes, purchase orders, Salesforce opportunities).
  • Draft budgets with rationale and manage timesheets and expense claims accurately and on time; review timesheets on projects.
  • Engage with the medical communications and pharma industries to stay informed about developments and trends, and reflect these insights in work.

This position is a perfect fit for you if:

  • Our Company values – Best Together, Impact-Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always, and Accountability with an “I” – resonate with you.
  • You are adaptable, resilient, and comfortable adjusting scope and responsibilities as we grow.
  • You are proactive, driven, and resourceful with strong prioritization skills and an interest in data.
  • You are highly organized, able to work independently and under tight deadlines.

What you should have:

  • Relevant degree in a scientific subject.
  • Previous industry experience.
  • At least one year of professional experience.
  • Strong organization, deadline awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Independent thinker who is also a team player.
  • Ability to communicate with managers about deadlines and potential issues.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Open-minded and eager to learn; high energy for fast-paced environments.
