Job summary

PwC UK’s Accounting Services team in Manchester is seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA Manager to lead outsourced accounting engagements and deliver statutory financial statements for clients. You will work with a skilled national team to ensure compliant, efficient processes and insightful financial reporting.

In this role you will use your UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, coaching abilities and experience in practice to manage client relationships and drive improvements, while contributing to a hybrid working

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or international equivalent.
• Strong accounting skills with UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
• Experience working in an accounting practice environment.
• IT literate with accounting packages and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to coach and develop staff in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outsourced accounting services including SFS preparation.
• Arrange secondments of skilled accountants for client needs.
• Handle bookkeeping and periodic management accounts.
• Prepare local SFS for cross‑border clients.
• Advise on statutory accounting compliance and SFS improvements.
