Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Band 8A Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the A&E team at the major health facility on the island of Guernsey. You will work in a 12-bed ED serving both adults and children and provide autonomous emergency care in collaboration with ED doctors.

• Emergency Department post-registration experience at Band 7 level.
• Current EPALS/ALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Have advanced knowledge and skills in emergency care and be clinically autonomous.
• Provide patient-centred clinical care in ED, including assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within scope.
• Work alongside ED doctors to safely refer and discharge undifferentiated patients.
• Follow local guidelines to meet needs of patients and families.
