Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking Consultants in Emergency Medicine to join the ED team at the main Hospital site on Guernsey, Channel Islands. The post operates 24/7 to treat an annual patient load with access to POC ultrasound, NIV, HFNO and RSI procedures.

The role includes on-call requirements and a sustainable night shift pattern in a consultant-led department, supported by a full MDT. Guernsey offers a high salary with favourable tax rates and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration on the Specialist Register.
• Completion of FRCEM.
• Wide and recent experience of ALL aspects of EM service delivery, including children.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A flexible approach to working in an Island setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency medicine services across all ED clinical pathways.
• Collaborate within a MDT comprising doctors, nurses and allied staff.
• Utilise on-site ultrasound and airway management tools.
• Provide high-quality patient assessment and timely decision-making when on duty.
