Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Senior System Architect for a technology company developing 5G communications and signal-processing IP. You will translate requirements into architectures across software, FPGA and ASIC, collaborating closely with DSP, software, FPGA and ASIC teams and engaging with customers on technical integration.

The role covers architecture, modelling, verification planning and evaluation of throughput, latency, power and resources, with hybrid working and a bonus up to 20%, EMI

Qualifications

• Develop and refine system architectures for 5G, modem and signal-processing products.
• Evaluate hardware/software partitioning across software, FPGA and ASIC.
• Analyze architectural trade-offs in throughput, latency, power and resources.
• Define interfaces and architectural modelling; support verification.
• Collaborate with customers on technical integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectures for 5G and modem products across software/FPGA/ASIC.
• Evaluate partitioning and implementation approaches across domains.
• Analyse trade-offs in throughput, latency and resources.
• Contribute to requirements capture and system decomposition.
• Work with FPGA/ASIC teams to refine strategies and resolve challenges.
• Support verification planning and lifecycle integration.
• Use modelling to evaluate algorithms and system performance.
• Engage with customers to understand integration requirements.
