Qualifications

Experience in CNC programming within precision engineering.
Ability to interpret drawings from 3D models and program from solid models.
Experience with multi-axis machining and 5-axis programming.

Responsibilities

Create offline CNC programmes for 5-axis vertical mill/turn machines and other CNC equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings and program directly from solid models.
Produce tooling documentation, set-up sheets and work-holding solutions.
Optimize machining processes and reduce programming times.
Collaborate with machinists and production teams to resolve issues.
Work with materials like Inconel 625 and Duplex stainless steel.
Maintain high quality, health and safety standards.
Mentor junior team members and coordinate workloads where appropriate.
