Job summary

Smart Sourcer Limited, a world-leading law firm, seeks a Senior Elite 3E Developer for its global finance technology team in London. You will own, shape and deliver enterprise-grade 3E solutions with autonomy, collaborating across Finance and Technology with Elite partners.

The role offers hybrid work from the London City office (60% office, 40% remote), a competitive salary (£85,000) and a 10% bonus, along with excellent benefits and a dynamic, international team environment.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Elite 3E IDE (2.7) and complex customisations.
• Strong experience in VB.NET, .NET Framework, XML, XSLT and XPath.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and T-SQL, plus Azure DevOps.
• Power Platform experience including Power BI, Power Apps, Logic Apps and Power Automate is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house customization and development of Elite 3E.
• Build scalable, performant solutions using VB.NET, SQL, XML, XSLT and XPath.
• Turn requirements into technical designs with BAs and experts.
• Guide discussions and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify risks early and design resilient solutions.
• Produce clean, reusable code aligned with best practices.
• Champion continuous improvement and modern engineering approaches.
• Support colleagues across our global finance group with expertise.
• Work with Elite and other vendors to deliver and troubleshoot 3E solutions.

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with Elite 3E IDE (2.7).
• Strong skills in VB.NET, .NET Framework, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
• Solid understanding of MS Fabric and medallion architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Power Platform experience, including Power BI, Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Power Automate, is a major plus.
• Elite 3E Templates and Design Gallery experience is highly advantageous.
• MS SQL Reporting Services experience is beneficial.
• Background in finance or legal environments is helpful.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to diagnose complex issues.
• High attention to detail, quality-driven approach, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Collaborative communicator who shares knowledge openly.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
