Placements24 is seeking a Senior 3D Modeler to join a creative team in a hybrid work setup. You will craft high-quality models for characters, props, and environments across games and film, collaborating closely with artists and TDs to meet artistic and technical standards.

A strong portfolio and 5+ years of experience are required. You will work with Maya, 3ds Max, Blender or ZBrush, plus Substance Painter and Photoshop to deliver production-ready assets while maintaining organized file

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional 3D modeling experience in gaming, film, or animation.
• Proficient in major 3D packages (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender or ZBrush).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality character, prop and environment models.

Responsibilities

• Create high-polygon and low-polygon 3D models for characters, props and environments.
• Develop textures, UV maps and materials for assets.
• Optimize models for real-time performance or rendering pipelines.
• Collaborate with art director and concept artists to achieve desired aesthetics.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Senior 3D Modeler to join their creative team in East London . You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets, including characters, props, and environments, for a variety of projects in the arts and entertainment industry. This role requires a strong artistic eye, exceptional technical skills in 3D modeling software, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. You will collaborate closely with other artists and technical directors to ensure all assets meet the required quality standards and artistic vision for productions based in East London .

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-polygon and low-polygon 3D models for characters, props, and environments.
• Develop detailed textures, UV maps, and materials for 3D assets.
• Optimize models for performance in real-time applications or rendering pipelines.
• Collaborate with the art director and concept artists to achieve desired aesthetic.
• Ensure models are topologically sound and meet technical specifications for animation or game engines.
• Maintain organization of 3D assets and project files.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Modeler in the gaming, film, or animation industry.
• Expert proficiency with 3D modeling software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or ZBrush.
• Strong understanding of hard surface modeling, organic modeling, and character modeling techniques.
• Experience with texturing software like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
