Hours: FULL TIME / PERMENANT 37.5 hours per week ( 3 long days on rota)
Salary: from £43155 to £45693 per annum ( dependent on experience and qualifications) plus Bupa benefits.

About The Cromwell Hospital
The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London receive bothUK andinternational patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, medical and surgical wards, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit.

The radiography services we provide at the Cromwell Hospital includes; Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, MRI, CT, General/Xray, and Mammography. We also partner with Genesis Care who are onsite offering therapeutic services. The department is ISO 9001:2015 accredited, and we provide a range of nuclear medicine examinations for many types of cancers, heart disease, gastro, endocrine, and neuro disorders.
The post holder will be based between the CT and General X-ray departments carrying out CT scans and general X-rays daily, depending on where the individual has been rostered to. Therefore, a flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial, along with a willingness to participate in the out of hours (including nights) and weekend rotas.
The CT Department is currently comprised of one Siemens scanner and is a very busy and challenging place to work. A variety of CT examinations including full body imaging, neurological, cardiac and biopsy procedures are undertaken, as well as some specialist orthopaedic imaging.
The X-ray department has two general X-ray rooms, an OPG machine, one fluoroscopy room, one DEXA scanner and one mammography machine. There is also a need to provide imaging external to the main department, namely in Theatres, Theatre Recovery and ITU.
What you’ll do:
Working with a team of Senior Radiographers, and reporting to the Superintendent you’ll provide high standards of service to all of Cromwell’s customers.
Ensure that monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance and reporting provides a high quality service.
Assist in the care of all equipment within the department ensuring that cleanliness is maintained and that all equipment faults are reported immediately to a supervisory person.
Participate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing and radiation protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure that effective booking, information, reporting and filing systems are maintained and developed.
Participate in a departmental on-call rota and work flexible hours if required to accommodate changing workload patterns.
What you’ll bring:
BSc or DCR in Radiography - essential
Be fully conversant with the Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation.
Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) - essential
General XRay / CT experience - essential
Post-graduate experience in a Senior II / Band 5 Radiographer post. - essential
Tact and empathy when dealing with patients and relatives.
