Job description

Yorkshire and Humber/ permanent / £160 - 200 per day

Start date: 1st September 2025 (with the possibility of starting sooner)

Contract type: Permanent

Have you previously worked in a SEND role?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a leading primary school based in Rotherham who are on the look out for Teacher & SENDCO starting in September with the potential to start sooner. As a SENDCO, you will be shaping and delivering outstanding SEND provisions across the school. Closely working with the SEND Director, SLT, staff, and families. You will be at the centre of strategically planning, ensuring pupils needs are identified, supported, and celebrated. You will also ensure the school remains compliant with the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and the Equalities Act 2010. In your teaching role, you’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Through monitoring and tracking progress, setting aspirational targets, and maintaining clear, supportive communication with parents and carers - you'll be an integral part of the wider school community.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
- Experience in education is required
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and supporting learners
