Job description

Yorkshire and Humber / Permanent / £150 - 170 per day

Start date: 1st September 2025 (with the possibility of starting sooner)
Contract type: Permanent

Have you previously worked in a SEND role?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a leading primary school in Rotherham that is looking for a Teacher & SENDCO starting in September, with the potential to start sooner. As a SENDCO, you will shape and deliver outstanding SEND provisions across the school, working closely with the SEND Director, SLT, staff, and families. You will be at the heart of strategic planning, ensuring pupils' needs are identified, supported, and celebrated. Additionally, you will ensure the school remains compliant with the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and the Equality Act 2010.

In your teaching role, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to all learners. By monitoring and tracking progress, setting aspirational targets, and maintaining clear communication with parents and carers, you will be an integral part of the wider school community.

Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
  • Experience in education is required
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and supporting learners
