Job summary

Kids Planet Christie Fields is seeking a SENDCO to lead inclusion for children with SEND and to collaborate with families and external agencies to design tailored support plans that help each child achieve their potential.

The role requires a UK Level 3 Early Years qualification, strong safeguarding and Ofsted knowledge, and extensive EYFS expertise. Experience with multi-agency partnerships is essential, and the academy training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Extensive understanding of safeguarding children.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS and Ofsted expectations.
• Experience of working with children with SEND and leading staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with families, staff and external agencies to design tailored support plans.
• Assist children with SEND to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued and able to thrive.
• Work in partnership with parents and outside agencies to ensure multi-agency support.
