Job Description

Elementa is recruiting a SENDCo to join a successful secondary school and lead the SEND provision, supporting learners and the school staff team. The school has a long-standing reputation for good academic results, excellent Ofsted ratings, and a welcoming staff environment. Stable leadership has maintained consistency for both staff and students.

The SEND provision has been well managed, and students are well supported. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in a similar role and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff.

Essential Criteria

1. SENDCo qualification OR extensive SEND experience with willingness to undertake SENDCO training
2. UK QTS
3. UK SEND teaching experience
4. Clear DBS (civil offences may be permissible)

Candidate Restrictions

• Requiring sponsorship for the right to work in the UK
• Lacking UK teaching or SEND experience
