Job summary

Integra Education in Wigan seeks a Tutor with QTS to deliver tailored lessons across English and Maths up to GCSE, supporting students with diverse needs. The role emphasizes consistency, flexibility, and a patient approach to help students reconnect with learning.

Qualifications

• UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS).
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons aligned to UK national curriculum.
• Experience with SEND/SEMH is desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to tailor lessons to pupil needs.
• Ability to tutor English and Maths up to GCSE.
• DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply.

For 15+ years, Integra Education has supported students outside mainstream education. Due to rising demand, we're looking for passionate Tutors to join our growing team

Due to a significant increase in demand, we are receiving a high volume of tuition requests across Wigan and surrounding areas. This presents a fantastic opportunity for dedicated tutors to make a meaningful impact on students who need additional support.

The Tutor role is a long-term position designed to provide students with consistency and support while actively working to break down barriers to learning.

What are we looking for?

• UK recognised teaching qualification/QTS
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK national curriculum
• Previous SEND or SEMH experience is desirable
• Strong subject knowledge
• Ability to tailor lessons to the individual pupil needs
• Ability to tutor English and Maths up to GCSE
• Enhanced DBS on the update service - or willing to apply
