Qualifications

Overview

We are looking for passionate Tutor 1:1 SEND / SEN professionals to join Powertutors UK. In this role, you will support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through engaging, personalised 1:1 tutoring. Whether you are an experienced SEND Teacher, a Teaching Assistant with specialist skills, or a Tutor looking for flexible work, this role offers the chance to make a lasting difference.

Responsibilities as a Tutor 1:1 SEND / SEN
  • Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions for SEND students

  • Work closely with parents, carers, and Powertutors staff to meet student needs
What We\'re Looking For
  • Experience supporting SEND learners (QTS/PGCE is a bonus but not essential)
  • Experience as a SEND Tutor, SEN Teacher, or Teaching Assistant
  • A genuine passion for education and understanding of neurodiverse needs
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) - support available if needed
