A Local Authority in London is seeking a SEND Tribunal and Mediation Manager to lead SEND processes and provide support during mediation and tribunal hearings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEND mediation and be able to manage case evidence effectively. This role offers competitive salary and 40 days of annual leave, with flexible working arrangements.

The role requires strong leadership, supervision and management of the end-to-end Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST) process.
You will work as a member of the SEND Assessment and Review Team who lead on all aspects of the SEND Code of Practice (2015) statutory processes linked to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). You will be responsible for the preparation of evidence and a key part of the role is to support families, professionals and colleagues through either the Mediation or Tribunal process. You will represent the Local Authority at Tribunal hearings and be responsible for preparing evidence and all aspects of case management.
This is a public facing post and so home working is by agreement.
