Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Support Officer to assist in delivering the SEND Transformation Programme in Slough. You will provide essential governance, documentation, and reporting support across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with experience in minute-taking, tracking actions and risks, and coordinating governance processes. Hybrid working, with a 4-month contract, is offered to support programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in supporting complex projects, programmes, or transformation initiatives.
• Proficient in maintaining project documentation, trackers, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience in monitoring actions, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Skilled in organizing meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Strong minute-taking and action-tracking skills.
• Experience in governance and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive support for projects and programmes within the SEND Transformation Programme.
• Keep project documentation, plans, trackers, and action logs current and accurate.
• Monitor and track actions, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Organize project meetings, workshops, stakeholder events, and programme activities.
• Prepare project updates, briefing papers, presentations, and progress reports.
• Accurately document meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on actions.
• Maintain governance records and assist in preparing programme board papers and meeting documentation.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and uphold efficient project systems, processes, trackers, and controls.
• Escalate issues and risks while aiding in resolution efforts.
• Independently manage competing priorities to meet programme deadlines.
