SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant needed in Bromsgrove

Are you an eager and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting and flexible role?

Do you have experience supporting students with special needs?

Are you interested in working with students with profound and multiple learning difficulties?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in an outstanding Special Needs school.

The school caters to students of various abilities, ranging from moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs, including some challenging behaviour. The role requires a talented SEND TA who is flexible, enthusiastic, and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs alongside a team of committed staff.

All applicants must have a child-related qualification or at least 6 months of experience working with children with SEND / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Confidence within a classroom environment and the ability to follow a class teacher’s instructions are essential.

The role will include:

• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
• Providing 1:1 support to students requiring additional assistance
• Leading group activities
• Supporting pupil observations for the class teacher
