Empowering Learning is recruiting Teaching Assistants for a September start at an outstanding secondary special school in Hillingdon, supporting students aged 11-19 with SLD, PMLD and ASD. You will work alongside teachers and therapists to support communication, learning and development.

This role involves personal care when required, creating a safe and engaging learning environment, and contributing to high standards of pupil welfare.

Empowering Learning is working with an Outstanding secondary special school supporting students aged 11-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autism (ASD). The school is known for its nurturing environment, excellent facilities and strong focus on helping every student achieve their full potential.

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants for September starts to support pupils with a wide range of additional needs.

The role:

• Supporting students with SLD, PMLD and Autism
• Assisting with communication, learning and personal development
• Working closely with teachers and therapists
• Providing personal care where required
• Helping create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment

We are looking for:

• Compassionate, reliable and proactive individuals
• Experience in SEND, care, education or support work is desirable
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated team

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Child & Adult Workforce (or willingness to obtain one)
• Professional references covering the last two years
• Right to work in the UK
