Job summary

Dulwich Prep & Senior is seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide tailored support for pupils with SEND, working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to adapt activities and build learner confidence.

The role involves delivering targeted interventions across literacy, numeracy, communication, and social development, promoting inclusion and wellbeing, and contributing to learning support plans and reviews. Start Jan 2027 or earlier.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in an education setting.
• Ability to adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND to access learning and build confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers, the SENDCo and other professionals to adapt activities and strategies.
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, communication and social development.
• Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and wellbeing, building supportive relationships.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to learning support plans and reviews.
