Job description

Protocol Education seeks a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) at a large specialist school within a respected trust in Shropshire.

You will assist teaching staff in SEN classes to deliver tailored educational and behavioural support, helping pupils engage with learning and develop vital skills in a positive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Who we’re looking for:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (experienced unqualified candidates considered)
  • Experience working with pupils with Severe Learning Disabilities or similar needs
  • Patient, reliable, with strong communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable transport for commuting to Shropshire
