SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Schools (Huyton Area)

Location: Huyton, Liverpool
Agency: Prospero Teaching
Salary: GBP105-GBP115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEND
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored interventions
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing strategies
• Support students both in the classroom and during non-teaching times (break/lunch)

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school, care or similar setting
• A patient, calm, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) are desirable
